In 2020, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, businesses faced the challenge of adapting their hiring processes to accommodate remote work. To address this, we developed an Interview Skills for Managers curriculum using Vyond animation and Articulate Storyline 360.

This curriculum aimed to quickly train hiring managers on conducting legal and efficient remote interviews.

Replicating real-world interview scenarios posed a challenge because conducting individual mock interviews with all hiring managers across the enterprise was impractical. Still, I wanted the Learner to practice interviewing and evaluating candidates. To maintain assessment fidelity, I devised an asynchronous online mock interview. Learners selected questions from a bank and evaluated their responses to make a hiring decision. This practical exercise allowed Learners to efficiently hone their interviewing skills in a remote setting.

Future iterations would integrate an AI persona to engage in more spontaneous conversation rather than pre-recorded responses.

SalesForce CRM Training

Tasked with role-based training of the Estimating process during SalesForce CRM implementation, I adopted a multifaceted approach. This included organizing live Train-the-Trainer webinars and Instructor-Led events across the US. I produced supplementary simulations and post-training practice exercises in a sandbox environment for reinforcement. Their training concluded with a jacket ceremony and the title Certified Estimator. Collaborating with Marketing, I facilitated the announcement and training of new features through short instructional videos and job aids. One instance was the introduction of the client portal, where I trained both internal team members and external clients via instructional videos and print materials.

In partnership with the CRM team, we launched an internal SalesForce CRM SharePoint training site, providing centralized support and role-based training. Additionally, we integrated a just-in-time overlay onto SalesForce using IORAD tutorial builder. Training effectiveness was monitored through weekly adoption reports generated by  PowerBI analytics to address any identified gaps and ensuring prompt training material updates.

Onboarding for a Non-Profit

I developed a comprehensive Onboarding program for a growing Non-Profit in the Southeastern US during the implementation of Paylocity HR/LMS. This involved analyzing employee needs and current processes, meeting with HR and department Stakeholders to determine training requirements, and creating micro-learning lessons using Articulate Rise for various departments.

New cohorts engaged in virtual round-table discussions with the CEO and department heads after completing these micro-lessons. As part of this process, I managed LMS administration tasks, including course uploading, testing, and deployment. Additionally, I tracked course completion, facilitated live webinars, and assisted internal employees with course management within the LMS.
